His campaign, Motown 2.0, isn’t just a run for mayor — it’s a blueprint for generational power.
Under the E.J. Administration, we’re launching bold institutions that restore control to the people: a world-class Detroit Cultural Center to fuel our talent, a permanent Fabric District to revive our fashion economy, and the Motown Community Trust Fund to invest in our schools, small businesses, and housing from within. On day one, we will begin to freeze all tax foreclosures, renovate 50 Land Bank homes, and begin holding slumlords and foreign investors accountable. This is about building the Detroit our grandchildren can inherit — and making sure the people who built this city are the ones who own its future.

My first term housing efforts will focus on:
- Freezing tax foreclosures on day one.
- Renovating 50 Land Bank homes and returning them to Detroit families
- Cracking down on slumlords and foreign land grabs
- Rehabbing sidewalks, storefronts, and bringing stability to every neighborhood
- Establishing new housing ordinances built on dignity, not displacement
The Fabric District
I'm building a permanent ecosystem for Detroit fashion — from training to production to retail — all in one neighborhood.
This district will focus on:
- Securing Federal contracts for military and other agencies
- Providing tailoring and fashion education
- Offering manufacturing spaces for Detroit-made brands
- Pop-up shops and retail incubators
- Events, expos, and media support
The Detroit Cultural Center
I'm transforming the old Cooley High into the beating heart of Detroit’s next cultural renaissance.
This cultural center will feature:
- Free digital film studio
- Mental health + general health clinic
- Free co-working and business space
- A youth-run news and radio station
